so i guess common is dissing drizzly drake??? i love common and i stay slapping Resurrection even got that Can i borrow a dollar? but i really wonder why common feels like he should be dissing drake and i wonder if this really is even a song about drake.

drake is not the greatest rapper and his lyrics aren’t the illest or what not but the dude can rap better than some of these new cats that are in his generation. i remember listening to his shit in 2006 when not a lot of people even knew who he was Lust For Life is a good song and i still listen to that mixtape. Drake has done a good job of staying relevant and not falling off.

common has been in the game for a minute and has released a lot of good shit but lately I’ve been wondering about what that dudes been doing if you listen to i used to love h.e.r. he’s talking about dudes selling out gimmicks and what not but i remember i seen him in a gap commercial and i think i heard him on a gatorade commercial too and of course he’s been acting.

i hope he doesn’t do what ice cube did and make family entertainment haha but seriously though why is he calling out drake is he doing it to prove that he’s still relevant? i think common doesn’t need to call out people like that just make some new music let that shit speak for itself.

he’s saying shit like all these rapper singers this and that but dude the game has changed a lot since common hopped in and now you can’t just be good at one thing and just live off of it although in some instances its better to be good at one thing than to be alright at a bunch of shit but now you gotta be able to make beats, record, sing, and put your shit out there so whats wrong with adding a couple things to your set of skills like singing haha.

but i don’t know why common is calling out “soft rappers” his album “Electric Circus” wasn’t exactly some gangster ass shit haha. and drake isn’t really on some brotha lynch type shit either haha

all in all i got respect for both of them and i like their music and i still gotta check out commons new album. wonder how long this “beef” between them is gonna last I’m thinking that its just gonna blow over
