damn i dont know what to say ive been a fan of hers since Frank her first official release and i’ve been following her ever since. its a shame that she had to go so early. i’ve had a couple conversations with friends about whether or not she would come back and make some good music again. it was sad to see some of those not so good performances but i thought she would bounce back since it seemed like she had a real strong spirit.

amy had so much style and i started listening to her when i was getting really interested in playing jazz so her music really spoke to me. i personally think she was the one responsible for the whole motown revival shit that hella people jumped on.

one of the reasons why i respect her and still do is because you can hear her in her music all the shit shes going through its all laid out because she fuckin wrote that shit herself.

NO GIMMICKS. NO FLASHY LIGHTS. JUST GOOD FUCKING MUSIC.

its sad to see someone with so much potential gone i think that she had a lot more to say with her music she just needed some time to get herself together
